What did the Prophet Abraham do with his father?

The Prophet Abraham set for us the best example in terms of treating kindly his parent ( the disbeliever ) while fearing that his father will be deprived from believing in Allah.
Allah the almighty said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :
{ O my father, indeed I fear that there will touch you a punishment from the Most Merciful so you would be to Satan a companion [in Hellfire]."}
Quran ( 19 : 45 )
