Allah raised the rank of Abraham both in this world and in the Hereafter.

Through knowledge Allah raises the rank of his knowledgeable servant over people, especially the one who applies the knowledge and teaches it, Allah will make him a leader for the righteous people.
Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) :
{ And that was Our [conclusive] argument which We gave Abraham against his people. We raise by degrees whom We will. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing. }
Quran ( 6 : 83 )
