Remember Allah when slaughtering the cattle

Before the slaughtering of cattle, camels, sheep, cows, and birds, Allah Almighty orders us to remember Allah over them and say Allahu Akbar (Allah is the greatest), so that the believer lives in the shade of the remembrance of Allah in all his conditions. Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { And the camels and cattle We have appointed for you as among the symbols of Allah ; for you therein is good. So mention the name of Allah upon them when lined up [for sacrifice]; and when they are [lifeless] on their sides, then eat from them and feed the needy and the beggar. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may be grateful. }

Exalting Allah is a means to sticking to patience

Allah Almighty commanded His Holy Messenger to endure patiently what the liars say about him, this aim can be realized by praising the Lord most times of the day so that this praise helps him to observe patience Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { So be patient over what they say and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and during periods of the night [exalt Him] and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied. } Quran ( 20 : 130 )

And remember your Lord when you forget [it]

Do not say that I am doing this tomorrow, unless you make it contingent on the will of Allah, and say: God willing. And remember your Lord when forgetting by saying: God willing, and whenever you forget, remember Allah, for the remembrance of Allah removes the forgetfulness . Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { And never say of anything, "Indeed, I will do that tomorrow," Except [when adding], "If Allah wills." And remember your Lord when you forget [it] and say, "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to what is nearer than this to right conduct." } Quran ( 18 : 23 – 24 )

Remembering Allah is the way to attain the tranquility of the heart

Those who have returned to Allah and applied the true perception of the Islamic oneness, Allah will guide them to the straight path. Their hearts will be reassured and find the tranquility in the remembrance of Allah. Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah . Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured."} Quran ( 13 : 28 )

Remembering Allah is one the means to reach victory

If you confronted a group of people of unbelief who are prepared to fight you, then stand firm and remember Allah a lot, supplicate him to bring you victory over your enemy, so that you can success Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { O you who have believed, when you encounter a company [from the enemy forces], stand firm and remember Allah much that you may be successful. } Quran ( 8 : 45 )

Do not you be heedless of remembering Allah

Remember your Lord inwardly with humility and reverence and in a moderate tone of voice, both morning and evening. And do not be one of the heedless. Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { And remember your Lord within yourself in humility and in fear without being apparent in speech - in the mornings and the evenings. And do not be among the heedless. Indeed, those who are near your Lord are not prevented by arrogance from His worship, and they exalt Him, and to Him they prostrate. } Quran ( 7 : 205 – 206 )

Remember Allah in all of your cases

If you have finished praying, remember Allah through praising and exalting him in all your circumstances, whether you are standing, sitting, or lying down on your sides. Do your best to perform the prayer completely. Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { And when you have completed the prayer, remember Allah standing, sitting, or [lying] on your sides. But when you become secure, re-establish [regular] prayer. Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times. } Quran ( 4 : 103 )

Keep your tongue moist out of remembering Allah

The remembrance of Allah satisfies the Most Gracious lord, makes the person happy, relieves the heart from the sorrows, and fills the balance with the good deeds. Among the best times for praising Allah is after the dawn and before the sunset. Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { He said, "My Lord, make for me a sign." He Said, "Your sign is that you will not [be able to] speak to the people for three days except by gesture. And remember your Lord much and exalt [Him with praise] in the evening and the morning." } Quran ( 3 : 41 )

Remembering Allah is the way to success

In the following verse Allah gave precedence to the purification over remembering Allah and offering the prayer because the purification is a condition for the validity of all the acts of worship. Once the soul is purified the lights of guidance will illuminate it, then it will realize its merits and search for it diligently. Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. } Quran ( 87 : 14 – 15 )

And remember Him, as He has guided you

Remembering Allah in a special place after descending from Arafat has a special pleasure. It does make you feel washed of all sins and return as your mother bore you. Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { There is no blame upon you for seeking bounty from your Lord [during Hajj]. But when you depart from 'Arafat, remember Allah at al- Mash'ar al-Haram. And remember Him, as He has guided you, for indeed, you were before that among those astray. } Quran ( 2 : 198 )

Remembering Allah cures the heart

The heart falls ill as the body does. Its cure lies in repenting to Allah. As well it rusts, as the metal rusts, yet eliminating the rust lies in remembering Allah, it is naked just as is the body and it shall be adorned with the piety. Allah said ( interpretation of the meaning ) : { So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me. } Quran ( 2 : 152 )
