The Holy Quran: is the Word of the Lord, the Most High, it was brought down by Gabriel (a heavenly angel created from light) to the Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) just as he descended with the Torah to Moses and with the Gospel to Jesus.
